    We are looking for....

    an IT Service Desk individual to provide fast and useful technical assistance on computer systems.  You will work to resolve all technical issues within the organization.  Your goal will be to provide the very best experience for our internal and external customers when on or using our systems.

    An excellent IT Service Desk individual must have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain the solution.  They must also be customer-oriented and patient.  Documentation and management of resolution through a ticketing system is an essential part of the job function.

    Compensation: Salary dependent on experience.

    Responsibilities

    We ask that you...

    • Help define SLAs and Policies for the Service Desk organization
    • Manage the ticketing system, and complete work according to SLAs
    • Provide technical assistance with computer hardware, software
    • Provide friendly and helpful customer service as the "First Point of Contact"
    • Escalate issues, when required, for resolution
    • Communicate, both orally and in writing, with employees and provide information during and after the resolution of issues
    • Resolve issues for clients via phone, in person, or electronically
    • Maintain accurate records of completed and pending jobs/incidents using the ticketing system
    • Follow organizational policies and procedures to include incident/problem escalation
    • Work in conjunction with other IT staff members in problem resolution including 3rd party vendors
    • Respond to emergency calls for assistance to perform critical corrective measures to return system & network infrastructure to an operational state

    It would be great if you...

    • Have prior experience in PowerShell
    • Have a strong foundational knowledge of networking, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies
    • Have an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or Technology degree
    • Are certified in CompTIA A+ or something similar
    • Are certified in CompTIA Network+ or something similar
