The Digital Marketing Manager will help manage the overall SEO program ensuring that revenue objectives are met. S/he will be responsible for managing, growing, and optimizing organic search engine across a range of search engines, web directories, and search-related opportunities to maximize profit. This individual will also be responsible for staying current with emerging technologies, understand how they affect search engine algorithm, and cultivate new SEO opportunities aimed at driving traffic and revenue through link building activities. This individual will also work with key stakeholders across the organization to support key initiatives. Leading a team of digital marketers, the manager will not only define the strategic, measurement and executional plan, but will also seek opportunities to enhance the value proposition of the team’s effort

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate marketing campaigns with sales activities
  • Oversee and coordinate product development and marketing trends
  • Directs the implementation of marketing strategies and tactical executions
  • Determine product demand and customer awareness
  • Develop pricing strategies to maximize return on investment
  • Review and optimize marketing budget
  • Monitor and report on customer satisfaction
  • Manages SEO initiatives from concept to completion, ensure that all timelines and deliverables are met
  • Develop historical benchmarks for each initiative, and measure against department and/or corporate objectives and ROI goals.
  • Provide strategic roadmap, measurement plan, guidance and direction to the team that align to overall corporate and departmental objectives to drive incremental revenue from digital.
  • Oversees the day-to-day operations of the SEO team and manages the productivity of the department, including workflow prioritization.
  • Audit SEO content published for MY R NOW.com for search engine optimization compliance.
  • Analyze all site designs and provide recommendations, as appropriate, that would result in increased organic ranking and visibility in search results.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related area or equivalent experience
  • 5 years prior experience in online media, analytics or marketing capacity, with 3-5 years of experience in Social Media
  • Must be a creative problem-solver with strong organizations skills
  • Expertise and demonstrated success with search engine marketing (SEM), social media and digital marketing
  • Keyword analysis & tools with an aptitude for competitive analysis, benchmarking and performance metrics
  • Web analytics software or similar web metrics tools
  • Demonstrated experience with digital campaign analytics and reporting
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing trends and industry best practices
  • Solid understanding of mobile and tablet industry platforms, devices and trends
  • Experience or understanding of paid search and website measurement and analytics
  • Highly analytical and quantitative, with excellent business acumen
  • Strong relationship and consensus building skills to work across all platforms and departments
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Positive, can-do attitude and entrepreneurial approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Professional Office Applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
