Starting in 2007, MY DR NOW is a growing provider of healthcare services with 7 busy clinics in the East Valley and West Valley.  And since 2015 our newest division, Provider House Calls, is experiencing a large growth explosion throughout our city and has recently expanded into Tucson and Northern Arizona.  This growth means we need to recruit more operational staff to support these provider services.  Our physicians (MD & DO), nurse practitioners (NP) and physician assistants (PA) that provide the services are growing exponentially and we need you to provide additional leadership to our growning staff and to keep providing healthcare services to our patients in our clinics and their homes.

We are looking for a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to join our team of revolutionaries!  Under the direction of the CEO, the Chief Medical Officer is responsible for ensuring the delivery of superior medical care to our patients by supporting evidence based guidelines and ensuring that all providers follow the standard of care. Furthermore, the CMO is accountable for providing guidance and supervision to new providers on-boarding and work with operations to ensure maximal efficiency of the process. 

Responsibilities

  • Maintains MY DR NOW's established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance programs, safety, environmental and infection control standards
  • Leads the clinical staff in the coordination of quality care on behalf of members utilizing their available benefits
  • Assists in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures
  • Monitor and modify advanced triage protocols
  • Coordinates efforts with that of operation, Human Resources, Accounting and IT department
  • Create and implement disease management programs and clinics
  • Addresses client concerns promptly, utilizing customer service skills. Makes recommendations for and/or implements resolution as determined necessary
  • Manages human capital by ensuring the most efficient staffing models are utilized in respect to the scheduling of providers
  • Monitors and supervises Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioner’s when necessary
  • Evaluates the performance of the providers on a regular basis. Provides input into the performance evaluations of the front and back office staff

Qualifications

  • Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Arizona
  • Graduate of an approved medical or osteopathic medical school with a minimum of 3+ years of post-graduate training in primary care medicine
  • 2+ years of previous experience as Medical Director, Senior Medical Director and/or Chief Medical Officer
  • Previous experience in healthcare or other medical fields
  • Experience in a managerial role
  • Strong and proven leadership qualities and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
