Compensation: $15/hr+ DOE, Non-Exempt

Schedule: Full-Time Monday- Friday

Starting in 2007, MY DR NOW is a growing provider of healthcare services with 7 busy clinics in the East Valley and West Valley.  And since 2015 our newest division, Provider House Calls, is experiencing a large growth explosion throughout our city and has recently expanded into Tucson and Northern Arizona.  This growth means we need to recruit more operational staff to support these provider services.  Our physicians (MD & DO), nurse practitioners (NP) and physician assistants (PA) that provide the services are growing exponentially and we need you to support our staff to keep providing healthcare services to our patients in our clinics and their homes



We are looking for a Medical Coding Specialist to join our team of revolutionaries! Our Medical Coding Specialists are the best in the business - we are efficient, proactive, aggressive, and love what we do! We understand knowledge is power and we are proud of our solid reputation as experts on our primary care clientele. We also know our team is strengthened by the synergistic effect of an all-star billing team.


  • Reviewing claim(s) to ensure proper payment was made by the insurance company
  • Locating and updating the most up-to-date patient demographics
  • Negotiating with patients to settle outstanding debts
  • Scheduling and reviewing patient payments
  • Scheduling the patient’s next appointment(s)
  • Reviewing patient details with the MY DR NOW front office team(s)


  • Previous experience in patient care or other medical fields
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Demonstrated ability to address difficult situations and resolve conflict with ease, poise, and tact
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology, medical insurance industry practices and CPT/ICD-9/ICD-10/HCPCS codes used in an ambulatory primary care setting
  • Ability to perform data entry accurately, efficiently and quickly
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Type at least 35 wpm
