    Credentialing Specialist

     

    MY DR NOW is seeking an experienced provider Credentialing Specialist to join our team! 

     

    Our network of Physicians (MD & DO), Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA) that offer primary care services are growing exponentially and we need Credentialing Specialists to support administrative contracting & licensure management efforts.     Compensation: DOE

    Schedule: Full-Time 

    Hours of Operation: Monday- Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Saturday and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

     

      

     MY DR NOW is Arizona's LARGEST privately-owned Primary Care Provider! 

     

    With nearly 100 PCP's in 7 outpatient clinics in addition to making house calls throughout Arizona, MY DR NOW is changing how healthcare is delivered. 

     

    Responsibilities

    • Performs provider credentialing and re-credentialing applications 
    • Completes Medicare, Medicaid & commercial insurance applications
    • Enters/reviews provider data in requested format in credentialing database, CAQH, NPPES & PECOS accounts, including upload of required documents
    • Verifies entered data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data
    • Maintains a successful approval rate for all provider levels, for all payer plans
    • Maintains an accurate database of provider information 
    • Completes and maintains new provider setup on clearinghouse, EFT & ERA applications, as needed
    • Participates in and distribute contract renewal and negotiation agreements
    • Maintains strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations

    Qualifications

    • Excellent typing skills of 55+ wpm, with minimal errors
    • Proven ability to work in Excel
    • Previous understanding and knowledge of medical credentialing of physicians with various insurance companies, preferred, not required
    • Familiarity with medical terminology through education or relevant work experience
    • Strong computers skills and excellent typing skills Immaculate attention to detail and excellent proofreading and data entry skills
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Must be team player with strong work ethic, discipline, a self-starter, and able to multi-task
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Accuracy and attention to detail is essential
