Reporting to the Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Senior Specialist is responsible for full life-cycle talent acquisition: sourcing, screening and recommending placement of team members by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external). This position will work closely with the communications team in employment branding and the people operations team in creating an exceptional candidate experience. The candidate has a strong understanding of sourcing methodology and the use of social media tools to source candidates.


  • Partners with hiring managers to determine needs.
  • Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in person), administers appropriate assessments and reference/background checking, makes recommendations for hire (or not hire) and delivers employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position openings within an assigned departments or teams.
  • Serves as an expert for recruiting candidates within an assigned departments or teams.
  • Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates.
  • Develops advertising programs (internal and external) in partnership with communications team to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
  • Manages internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc.
  • Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding talent acquisition process.
  • Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external customers to ensure achievement of goals and metrics.
  • Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, noncompete agreements).
  • Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Manages application/resume file and retention according to company policy.
  • Advocate MY DR NOW’s brand, voice and impact.


Required Education and Experience

  • A minimum of 4- 5 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience with an innovative or startup company.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, communications, or related field is required
  • Demonstrated skill and comfort in proactively building relationships with universities and professional associations locally and nationwide.
