Compensation:  DOE

Schedule: Full-Time; Monday - Friday; 8 AM to 4 PM and/or  9 AM to 5 PM

Available Locations: AZ Valley-Wide (Chandler, East Mesa, Gilbert, Laveen, Mesa, Phoenix, and San Tan Valley)

Hours of Operation: Monday- Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Saturday and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

MY DR NOW is growing and is seeking more Patient Care Coordinators to join our team Valley-Wide. MY DR NOW's superb Patient Care Coordinators help to ensure all the administrative pieces of a patient’s visit are handled in a timely and efficient manner.  

Applicant must be organized, able to handle multiple tasks concurrently, possess good interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with coworkers, patients and providers. 

Responsibilities

  • Handling patient concerns in a prompt manner
  • Acting as a patient advocate to ensure proper service
  • Prepares forms and letters requested by patients including FMLA, discharge letters, and other documentation
  • Distributes incoming orders and faxes to the appropriate provider
  • Conducts follow up calls to patients including scheduling follow up appointments
  • Facilitates communication between physician, specialists, pharmacies, and others involved in patient care
  • Handling inbound and outbound patient calls

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with clinical short hand, prescriptions, and medical terminology
  • Highly computer proficient - EMR experience a plus!
  • Experience handling a high volume of phone calls with professionalism
  • Excellent listening, oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Very detail-oriented
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments while continuing to provide EXCELLENT customer service
  • Energetic, personable and able to multi-task
  • Proficient with basic medical terminology- not mandatory but preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) very much a plus!!!
