Starting in 2007, MY DR NOW is a growing provider of healthcare services with 7 busy clinics in the East Valley and West Valley.  And since 2015 our newest division, Provider House Calls, is experiencing a large growth explosion throughout our city and has recently expanded into Tucson and Northern Arizona.  This growth means we need to recruit more operational staff to support these provider services.  Our physicians (MD & DO), nurse practitioners (NP) and physician assistants (PA) that provide the services are growing exponentially and we need you to keep providing healthcare services to our patients in our clinics and their homes.

Responsibilities

  • The Director Collections is responsible for providing overall insight, management and leadership of all aspects of patient financial services
  • Provide strategic direction for Collections Managers, Collection Specialists, and other service centers Directors
  • Follow overall market trends and communicate significant shifts to the service centers Leadership and others as appropriate
  • Oversee management of Collections personnel, providing recommendations for hiring, promotion, salary adjustment and personnel action where appropriate
  • Complete regular trending analysis of Collections performance
  • Oversee the service centers operations of Collections functions such as monitoring accounts, account follow-up, account resolution, balance reconciliation, denial and bad debt reporting, agency review, etc.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and company compliance policies, ensuring timely staff education
  • Develop specific objectives, budgets, and performance standards for each area of responsibility
  • Assume a lead role for innovation

Qualifications

  • Gifted in MS Excel
  • Minimum 3 years managing high-volume collections,
  • Ability to Identify Trends
  • Ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships
  • Must be flexible
  • Proven track record of inventory management and account resolution
  • Proven track record managing staff productivity and quality
  • Proven track record of successful process improvement in account resolution
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
