Compensation: Non-Exempt, ($16/hour +)

Benefits: BCBS Health, 401K, PTO, Dental, Vision, Pet Insurance, & Voluntary Life

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8AM – 4PM (Flexible)

Location: Chandler AZ (Corporate Center)

 

Starting in 2007, MY DR NOW is a growing provider of healthcare services with 7 busy clinics in the East Valley and West Valley.  And since 2015 our newest division, Provider House Calls, is experiencing a large growth explosion throughout our city and has recently expanded into Tucson and Northern Arizona.  This growth means we need to recruit more operational staff to support these provider services.  Our physicians (MD & DO), nurse practitioners (NP) and physician assistants (PA) that provide the services are growing exponentially and we need you to support our staff to keep providing healthcare services to our patients in our clinics and their homes.

  

Our company is expanding and is seeking (2) Credentialing Specialists to aide us in our upcoming growth plans.  You thrive in a high-pressure environment, embraces change, seeks challenges, drives growth, very professional to their internal clients, courteous and can hit the ground running.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures
  • Enters/reviews provider data in requested format in credentialing database and CAQH, including upload of required documents
  • Verifies entered data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data
  • Performing credentialing and re-credentialing applications for client providers
  • Completing licensure, Medicare and AHCCCS (Medicaid) applications
  • Maintain a successful approval rate for all provider levels, for all payer plans
  • Maintain strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations
  • Maintain an accurate database and collect and analyze verification information
  • Obtain and manage new clients providers’ licensure and payer information
  • Complete and maintain new client provider setup on clearinghouse, CAQH entries, EFT & ERA as needed
  • Participate and distribute contract negotiations and agreements

Qualifications

  • Excellent typing skills of 55+ wpm, with minimal errors
  • Proven ability to work in Excel
  • Previous understanding and knowledge of medical credentialing of physicians with various insurance companies, preferred, not required
  • Familiarity with medical terminology through education or relevant work experience
  • Strong computers skills and excellent typing skills Immaculate attention to detail and excellent proofreading and data entry skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Must be team player with strong work ethic, discipline, a self-starter, and able to multi-task
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is essential
