Schedule: Full-Time

Compensation: $70-80K/yr DOE

As the Director of Revenue Cycle Management at MY DR NOW, you'll roll up your sleeves and help us successfully manage rapidly growing revenue and payment volumes, handling everything from designing operational protocols and processes to managing the individual members of the revenue cycle team. You'll get the chance to work with client-side invoicing, as well as provider-side bills, ensuring MY DR NOW gets paid in a timely manner and keeps all of its providers and vendors happy.

Responsibilities

Here's how you'll spend your time:

 

  • Directly overseeing and leading the Revenue Cycle team
  • Summarizing and communicating revenue cycle successes, challenges, and trends to the leadership team
  • Managing, training, and coaching individual team members, including creating personnel development, KPIs, succession plans, and partnering with HR as needed to maintain an engaged and productive team
  • Facilitating communication between and extracting relevant information from a variety of stakeholders in order to comprehensively identify problems and subsequently create sustainable and scalable solutions
  • Maintaining and ensuring accurate and timely billing processes as well as compliance with payer and provider contracts
  • Monitoring timeliness and effectiveness of department activities, ensuring that outstanding patient accounts and accounts receivables is no more than the agreed upon limit and that bad debt is within budgeted target.
  • Ensuring effectiveness of collection efforts and maintains insurance billings are current within the established time frame specified in the department policy
  • Designing and developing the appropriate organization structure for the Revenue Cycle team

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of revenue cycle experience, with at least 2 years as a department manager
  • Strong managerial and business acumen in setting corporate directions and aligning strategic goals and around business plans
  • Extensive knowledge of revenue cycle processes, including ICD, CPT, and Workers' Compensation guidelines
  • Strong background in financial management and knowledgeable of federal and state laws and requirements relating to healthcare management
  • Familiarity with patient billing management software, Microsoft Excel, and Intuit Quickbooks
  • An encouraging and warm demeanor with a proven ability to motivate and develop others
  • The ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
  • Strong ethics and a high level of personal and professional integrity.
  • Strong analytical skills and adept in interpreting strategic vision into an operational model.
  • An effective communicator at all levels in the organization, with strong oral, written and persuasive skills.
  • Attention to detail
