We are looking for a Coding Manager to join our team of revolutionaries! The Coding Manager will work alongside other medical professionals and will be responsible for implementing monitoring systems to ensure the Medical Coding Specialists perform duties correctly while also being able to step into the role, if needed to cover. 

Responsibilities

  • Managing physician coding and corresponding staff performance
  • Regularly reviewing production and analyzes status in relation to benchmarked goals and objectives
  • Addressing coding issues in real-time and with the appropriate personnel
  • Having a strong understanding of current regulatory coding requirements and billing procedures for services rendered
  • Facilitating successful coding operations through the application of learned, certified knowledge in addition to continuous professional development and ongoing coding research
  • Guiding and making recommendations for coding work-flow to achieve optimum accuracy, efficiency, and productivity
  • Working closely with Claim Managers and Director of Reimbursement to achieve results

Qualifications

  • Computer Proficiency: MS Office and EMR/EHR experience
  • CPC designation
  • 5(+) years professional experience
  • Dedication: demonstrated commitment to GHF’s mission and values

  • Planning: ability to think ahead and plan over a one- to two-year time span
  • Management: ability to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Problem Solving: problem analysis and resolution at both a strategic and a functional level
  • Customer Service: ability to provide excellent customer service in all situations
  • Interpersonal: ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
